The Research Data Unit not only supports researchers in data management planning for research projects, but its parent institutions, the University Library and the University Computer Center, also participate themselves in projects to build and improve data infrastructures.
NFDI4BIOIMAGE
NFDI4BIOIMAGE is a consortium within the National Research Data Infrastructure (NFDI). NFDI4BIOIMAGE focuses on all steps of the research data life cycle for microscopy and bioimage analysis. The URZ is a partner in the consortium.
NFDI4Culture
Heidelberg University Library, as one of the responsible institutions of arthistoricum.net, is a project partner in NFDI4Culture, the NFDI consortium on material and immaterial cultural assets.
NFDI4Objects
NFDI4Objects is a multidisciplinary consortium within the National Research Data Infrastructure (NFDI). The consortium aims at researchers and practitioners whose work focuses on the material heritage of about three million years of human and environmental history. The University Library is a partner in this consortium.
bwFDM
The federal state project bwFDM is dedicated to the information needs in the field of research data management and is divided into different work areas, including: Coordination of the cross-sectional topics of the Science Data Centers in Baden-Württemberg, further development of the information platform forschungsdaten.info, consultations and training on research data management, and planning and hosting of the conference “E-Science-Tage”.
