Heidelberg University Library operates three DFG-funded “Subject Information Services” (FID): arthistoricum.net (art, photography, design), Propylaeum (ancient studies) and FID4SA (South Asian studies). These offer researchers the following community-specific services:

  • demand-oriented acquisition of information resources
  • subject-specific information platforms
  • Open access publication services
  • Digitization and thematic cataloging of resources
  • Linked open data services
  • Science communication/PR/marketing
  • Consulting for digital humanities projects
