heiEDITIONS is an infrastructure for digital editions provided by Heidelberg University Library. It comprises a conceptual framework, rules for data formatting, tools for creating and editing edition data ('authoring'), processing software, a hosting and visualization platform, as well as instructions and documentation. The infrastructure is suitable for a wide range of types of editing and enables editions with different depths of indexing. It grows out of highly heterogeneous collaborative projects with national and international partners and is in constant development.
